MY BIO
I was born on February 20 (Pisces!!!) and raised partly in the small town of Elberton, GA and the rest in Athens, GA (home of the University of Georgia's Bulldogs - for you football fans). We've been in Athens since my 7th grade year, so it will always be the place that I claim. I graduated from Cedar Shoals High school with a 3.75 GPA...and I'm currently a student at Georgia State University (in Atlanta) majoring in Nursing and maybe minoring in Psychology. I am definitely a people-person but don't think that I'm just trying to get in your head! lol I started college at Armstrong Atlantic State University (in Savannah, GA). It just wasn't the college experience that I'd hoped for, so although I had made lots of friends, I finally transferred. The people aren't as friendly in the southern part of GA...lol...but I did make a few good friends at AASU who (clearly) weren't from the area!

WHAT DO I LIKE TO DO?
I was previously a Varsity Basketball Cheerleader in high school and I ran track. I did cheerleading my Freshman year at Armstrong (hated it), but now I just mostly try to stay toned. I mainly work on abs but I use to be obsessed with my legs! In general, I pretty much just like to have fun, you know? Go to the mall, the movies, parties, or just chill with friends. We sometimes go bowling, too. As long as I'm not bored alone, I'm fine! ;-) You can sometimes find me on the internet - mainly facebook! lol I do have a myspace account, but I am hardly ever on there. Sorry! ;-) Before I discovered different networks, I was always on yahoo playing spades or some other game.

WHAT DO I LOOK FOR IN A GUY?
I get this type of question a lot - LOL. To tell the truth, I had never really thought about it until people started asking me! There really isn't a particular guy that I just have to be with. I like both dark-skinned and light-skinned guys. The thing about brown-skinned guys, though, is that they look better with EVEN skin tones! Not 2 or 3! Light-skinned guys with braids are usually attractive - LOL (notice I said "usually"). Brown-skinned guys with low cuts or braids. I also like bald heads! Hmmm, he basically just has to have a sense of humor because I love to laugh! I prefer guys who are AT LEAST my height (5'7) or taller. Just not so tall that we look awkward together and he has to bend down really far to hug me! lol So...I guess that would make him 5'8 - 6'4. ;-) I definitely don't like liars or cheaters. Without honesty, what do you have? "You aint gotta lie to kick it." Why even bother? If you feel the urge to cheat, just tell me so we can end it. Leave the drama! I have enough stress with school alone. lol


MY MODEL BEGINNINGS
I admit I was pretty skinny up until my sophomore year in high school (guess I hit puberty and my hips got bigger! lol). I was told at an early age that I would make a good model - and started modeling in the 7th grade. I attended the Barbizon Modeling School of Atlanta (so I practically lived in Atlanta lol). BEWARE!!!! We mannequin - modeled in Atlanta-area malls, but to our surprise, we got paid in Barbizon bucks - not real money! My mother and I were furious!!! So take it from me, don't attend a modeling school if you have high hopes of getting into the industry. They didn't teach me anything I couldn't have learned on my own. I can say, however, that I was pretty shy so it did help out with that.

I somehow came upon this site called Onemodelplace.com and uploaded some pictures for an online portfolio. I started getting a lot of referrals from photographers in Atlanta that liked my look and wanted to do a tfp (time for print) shoot with me to help out with my portfolio. I couldn't get too involved with it because of school, work, and all of the extracurricular activities I was involved in, though.

One particular referral at OMP was from Modelfx.com. They were looking for new featured and portfolio models for their site. They're located in Florida, but they travel. We hooked up for an outdoor shoot, and I had my first paid shoot!!! I then decided that the website thing wasn't for me though (I was only 16), but it was a wonderful experience. I took time off from modeling to finish my education and just recently started back. I am currently working on a new portfolio to search for a new agent or agency. I am only considering my state of Georgia and some of its bordering states - Florida being among the top three.
